Highfield Country Park
Highfield Country Park is a 70 acre area of open land that stretches to the east of Broom Avenue across to the back of Houldsworth Golf Course and over to the junction of Longford Road and Nelstrop Road. Everyone from within and beyond the community is welcome.
The website contains an ever-increasing history of Highfield Country Park. There is a species list for plants, the ecology and animals. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add in-depth species fact files. We’ve made directions to the park easier. Soon we’ll be adding suggested walking routes within the park.
